INTRODUCTION

With the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation and evolution, blockchain and Web3.0 technology continue to play their dual roles of leadership in the field.

Organized by the Chinese Institute of Electronics and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, the 2025 International Conference on Blockchain and Web3.0 Technology Innovation and Application Exchange(BWTAC2025), with the joint efforts of School of Information and Software Engineering of UESTC, School of Cyber Security of UESTC, Blockchain Branch of the CIE as well as New Generation Information Technology Industry Research Institute, will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan province of China on November 7-9, 2025, aiming to accelerate to foster new productive forces and integrate digital technologies with the real economy.

The 2025 International Conference on Blockchain and Web3.0 Technology Innovation and Application Exchange(BWTAC2025) ,which organized on the solid basis of previous event, will focus on the core values and cutting-edge applications of blockchain and Web3.0, and explore the latest progress of blockchain in terms of performance and scalability, as well as its representative applications in various fields such as finance, government affairs, and intelligent manufacturing, etc. Meanwhile, the topic of BWTAC will focus on data elements circulation and governance, privacy, security and solutions, involving encryption technology, privacy protection and network attack defense. In addition, it will also cover privacy computing, data elements and the combination of blockchain+artificial intelligence, including the exploration of blockchain and Web3.0 in the development of the metaverse. The 2nd academic annual meeting of the Blockchain Branch of the CIE will also be held at the same time. We would like to discuss with all the participants the latest trend of development in the field of blockchain and Web3.0 technology, to bring together experts from government, industry, academia, research and finance field by stimulating and cultivating a group of new technology, new industries, new business formats and models in an innovative perspective, and to contribute to achieve sci-tech self-reliance and self-strengthening at higher levels and pursue a high-quality development in the filed of blockchain and Web3.0 technologies.
